A classic Prince Far-I meets Suns Of Arqa mix by Minister of Noise.
Heavy timeless masterpiece from the ARKA SOUND label.
"Live With Prince Far-I" features the great Prince Far-I performing his last ever gig with SUNS OF ARQA, before he was shot and killed upon his return to Kingston, Jamaica. This is a legendary live recording from Band On The Wall, Manchester . Prince Far-I's reggaeton vocal delivery like growling thunder, take centre stage on many tracks and is completely engrossing. We're also treated to some more freeform, psychedelic jams that don't crop up that often on Arqa releases.
lyrics
...the human race must seek the path of wisdom if the world is to be preserved from the internal and external dangers that threaten it. In this time of violence and disintegration, spiritual vision is not an elitist luxury but vital to our survival. To follow the path of wisdom has never been more urgent or more difficult. Our society is almost entirely dedicated to the celebration of the ego, with all its sad fantasies about success and power, it celebrates those very forces of greed and ignorance that are destroying the planet. It has never been more difficult to hear the unflattering voice of truth, never more difficult, once having heard it, to follow it: the entire society in which we live seems to negate every idea of sacredness and eternal meaning. So at the time of our most acute danger, when our very future is in doubt, we as human beings find ourselves at our most bewildered, and trapped in a nightmare of our own creation. Suns Of Arqa attempt through music, to bring to light the spiritual teachings from the great mystical traditions of the world.

Impossible to convey into words my love and admiration for the one PRINCE FARI! His Quante Jubila was the intro song for my show ROOTS ROCK REGGAE on WXPN. Unique and amazing artist that was cut down in his youth. Edwah O'Neill
