    'Suns of Arqa meet the Gāyan Uttejak Orchestra' is a collaboration between Wadada and Hungarian composer and ethno-musicologist Lâszlô Hortobâgyi. The album was mostly arranged and mixed at the Gāyan Uttejak Studio in Budapest, apart from 'The Sky Shall Vanish' (featuring John Cooper-Clarke) and 'Sostenuto' which was arranged & mixed on the Arka Sound Mobile, in Inverness, Scotland.

    'SOA meet the Gāyan Uttejak Orchestra' also features the voice of Professor Stanley Unwin on the final two tracks, the latter of which was remixed at Redwood Recordings in the Highlands of Scotland.
